Keyboardist/composer Cory Henry has a new album titled “Devotion,” and I’m thrilled to have played soprano sax and alto clarinet on six of the tunes, coolly arranged by Brent Fischer.
I’ve recently written three library albums that are available for your listening pleasure.
“Memphis Horns” is a fun, funky good time, reminiscent of The Meters, along with some hot 60’s sax action!
“Bourbon Street Boogie,” as you may guess, is a NOLA brass band party with an organ/bass/drums groove.
”Speakeasy Swing” and “Speakeasy Heat” celebrate the vintage jazz sound from the 1920’s.
Next album is a soul jazz collection!
